If you love looking at vintage photos, DON'T LEAVE THIS PAGE, because you'll find some real treasures here. In 1957 and again in 1964, my grandfather went jaunting about the world with my grandmother and took thousands of photos. I was visiting my mother one day and she said - hey, I found these slides Papa took and I was going to take them to the tip, do you want them? Gasping in horror at the thought of such a sad end for them I said - OF COURSE I WANT THEM!! So I wrestled them from her, scanned them into the computer and decided they must be shared because they are a slice, or a shot of history. So now I'm sorting through them and making them into tiles that travel around the world and live in interesting places and make people happy.
